VISION/MISSION:

The PEN PARLIAMENT PROJECT (P3) is borne out of paitriotic and Nationalistic conciousness. Its a project that is dedicated to Nigerian Youths and all Nigerians within and Diaspora aimed at Re-generating the needed paitriotic feelings towards national development. The vision of the project is rethorically stated in her motto which says-

“WHAT WILL I DO FOR NIGERIA?". The vision of the project is synonymous with contemporary RE-BRAND NIGERIA vision. The Philosophy of P3 is anchord on "Existentialism ". Existentialsm is a philosophical thought which looks at the single individual first as existing in a society. Existentialism states that man exists and in that existence man defines himself and the world in his own subjectivity. In simpler terms, existentialism is a philosophy concerned with finding self and the meaning of life through free will, choice, and personal responsibility.

The PEN PARLIAMENT PROJECT (P3) is of the position that National Development is a two-sided function- a greater responsibility from the individual, since he exists and a function from the governemnt of the day. Development connotes collectivism and not Individualim. In recent times, governance have become so "complex" and incompatible with the citezenry whereas the few Elites who control the mechinery of power and governance have not really been able to deliver their promises to their electorates, hence they have enriched their private pockets even at the detriment of the masses and to the underdevelopment of the nation, it becomes very pertinent that individuals and indeed the private sector who exist in the system begin to contribute to National Development.

Responsibility from the private sector in the Nigerian experience, no doubt should not be overemphasized as it has become very obvious to us that National Development have not and maynot be achieved single-handedly by these few elites who control the affairs of the state; hence the need for the individuals- you and I to get involved in the developmental process of Nigeria. As Nigerians, we must see the success of Nigeria as our sole function, not a function of the few ruling class or governemnt alone.

At this stage of Nigeria's development, we must shift our mentality from "National Cake sharing and recieving" to individual contribution to sustainable growth/development.

Sincerly, Nigeria will work, but members of the Nigerian society within and outside will be involved directly or indirectly to achieve and restote our national pride. Trust me, if 140 million Nigerians within & diaopora start going in the mentality of what he/she will do/contribute to Nigeria.....wao! then Nigeria will be a better home for we all. Remember, Nature made you a Nigerian, its not optional! So, Do Nigeria! What Will I Do For Nigeria? A question you must ask yourself.
